Your gift to Haiti through Smile of a Child

Your gifts to Haiti this Christmas season went in the form of GOD'S holy word "5000 Bibles"! Your Smile of a Child donated these French language bibles to "The Mercy and Sharing Foundation" who received 3000 and will give them out at their schools and orphanages in Haiti.
The other 2000 went down to your hospital, school and orphanage that your prayers and giving help build.

Our GOD does supply All our needs…

20 tons of food was air shipped to your SOAC compound on March 31, 2004 when we learned that your feeding center had been without food for over a week. A boat shipment was not an option do to the urgency of hungry children. Your SOAC chartered an aircraft for $45,000.00 to deliver this much-needed food to the country of Haiti. Much more is needed for this, the poorest country in the western hemisphere, so please continue to pray and support your Smile of A Child doing GODs work.

I have never written a letter like this before in my life…I am asking Jesus to please help me reach you with a cry from my heart.

Twenty five years ago I was privileged to visit Haiti for the first time….I met the most beautiful, kind, precious people in the world. But I had never seen such poverty…the most unusual emotions carried me thru those first few days.

Visiting the “abandoned baby” hospital…and holding a baby boy in my arms as he died…

Feeding little angels that had not eaten for days and seeing their faces glow…

Going to a local church and seeing precious people give an offering to Jesus – a rock / a button / a page from their tattered new testament…

Watching a 93 year old precious blind lady who smelled our food cooking “lift her plate to Heaven” and thank God for His daily provision to her…

The emotions were endless…but one of the sites that changed my life was as we stopped at an old gas station, I saw something moving behind the garbage area – To my shock was a tiny naked little angel baby girl…digging thru the garbage to try to find one crumb to eat.

I jumped from the car and ran toward her….as she turned and ran as fast as her little legs would go into the woods.

I literally fell on my knees in that dirt and I heard Jesus say to me…THAT COULD BE YOU JAN…hungry and naked and scared and alone…

After visiting the feeding center of Pastor Louis Neree and having my heart wrenched out as I again saw little children have to be turned away because of lack of money to buy food…

I had to talk to God…These were His creations and created with a purpose and value just like every one of us.
Why were babies dying…children naked …hungry…diseased…crying and no one hearing??

I ran to my room and fell across my bed…sobbing to God…WHY GOD…

It was as if I were transported to the Garden of Eden…

Everything beautiful…everyone happy – and I heard God say – “This is the way I planned earth – But Satan came to KILL, STEAL AND DESTROY…”

But I have given YOU – My name…My authority…My power…to DESTROY THE WORKS OF THE ENEMY….NOW …GET UP AND DO DOMETHING ABOUT IT.

Feed the hungry….Clothe the naked….Visit the sick….Take back everything SATAN HAS STOLEN AND I’ll be with you to the end of the world.

My life has never been the same. I immediately started and helped build and operate feeding centers…and now a 3 million dollar hospital and doctor’s quarters on a beautiful compound at 54 Lamentine, Carrefore, Haiti.

Now that is why I’m writing to you and why I need your heart to hear my cry…

Haiti was dedicated to SATAN AND VOODO 200 years ago. These precious people have been lied to and told….we’re too poor to worship #1…GOD…so we’ll worship #2…Satan…that is the lie they are told and believe.

So what does Satan do for you? Haiti is the poorest nation in the western hemisphere.

Haiti is 80% jobless
Haiti is 60% illiterate
Haiti has a life expectancy of about 45

Violence is rampant…two men were chopped to death on my Smile of a Child property.

But Haitians still are the most wonderful, positive, beautiful souls. They are believing things will be better.

We have a window of opportunity right now as we have never had before.

I am crying as I write and my heart screaming, PLEASE help us.

This can all change. If the right person is in power in the precious country.

An election is scheduled for November 13.

We need you and everyone you know to pray for a GOOD MAN…A GOD FEARING man, to be elected to lead this country.

The Christian Haitians are fasting and praying ever day…8 A.M. ‘til l3 P.M. …on their faces crying to God until the election.

We need you to SPEAK OUT against this evil that has overtaken this land and realize anyone who “was” in power…does not need to “return” to power….

I have personally met with two men running for president…wonderful men of God.

But evil forces are speaking out to have this election stopped…This cannot be…

The Wall Street Journal article by Mary Anastasia O’Grady, http://www.haitipolicy.org/content/3131.htm of July 22, 2005 will more than explain what is happening. A radio station in Miami is bombarding in Creole to the Haitian people for the elections to NOT BE HELD and they are propagating violence.

EVIL RULES AND REIGNS WHEN GOOD PEOPLE DO NOTHING.

Haiti needs us right now to do something….

Write and call President Bush and ask him to send troops again for the peace’ between now and the election.

On behalf of the Smile of a Child foundation, of which I am president, I wish to offer you our heartfelt congratulations on your election to the office of president.   I truly believe that the miracle for Haiti’s glorious future has begun with your election.

I am hoping that I will have the honor of meeting you sometime in Haiti.     I travel there several times a year to administrate the two million dollar hospital which the Smile of a Child foundation is building as a gift of love to the people of Haiti.  The hospital is located at 15 Lamentine, Carrefour. 

I have had the joy of having Prime Minister Gerard Latortue as a guest on our television network in America, Trinity Broadcasting Network.   Mr. Latortue and I have become friends, and last year, at his request, I was able to send a cargo ship to Haiti loaded with tons of humanitarian aid including food, clothes, medicine, and medical personnel, as well as six fire trucks and three ambulances.  I look forward to working with your administration to help provide more relief goods to Haiti in the future.
